Recommend a 220gr 30-06 load for my 03 Springfield

I'm interested in trying the heavier side of this cartridge. I know that the 220gr was used with great success in the 30-40 Krag and 30-06 in the early days to hunt elk.

I don't need anything super heavy, I just want to try it out. After all this is for a 87 year old rifle. Can I use IMR 4895 or do I need a slower powder? What bullets are available? The only thing I can find on MidwayUSA is the Hornady Interlocked bullet which seems kind of pricey. I just need a plain jane JRN or JSP is fine.
