:mad:I just got back from the show and could not believe how bad it was. Only half the vendors at best were even selling gun related items. The buildings were only half full of vendors also. There was not even one vendor that had pistol mags. I usually go to this show and had never seen it so bad. It should have been cancelled. I also did not see that many OLL & parts vendors I think only 2. I dont think I will be going to this show for a while.

Ya, the last 2 times I went were only because my friend wanted to go. Truth is the amount of $ on gas it takes for me to get there isn't worth it. Its great to see the EBR growth there and CWS bringing their stuff but those shows have to much crap there and it is way to over priced.

I had a chance to go to a small show in Tuscon, AZ it was very small but atleast everything there was well priced. For such a small show they had everything from AK pistols and Steyr Augs to batons.

yeah, from what I hear, most of the vendors went to the costa mesa show. even some of the vendors at ventura started to pack up to run down to CM....

I was going to post this same thread topic and saw it was already posted, so I am not alone. After walking the show I went to Wal-Mart and bought ammo cheaper than I could have at the show. If I did not go, I would have had an extra $14.00 to buy ammo.

Only a few black rifles and me being a HK nut of sorts, noticed that there was not one HK in the whole show. It is too bad because the show will get cancelled as the vendors will not return and then there is one less place to purchase firearms and ammo.

This is due to restrictions placed on the vendors. Imagine if you were allowed to buy and sell guns on the spot, that place would have been cooking. But noooooo...thanks to our stinking gun laws!

Deadeye,

You saved $14.00 and whatever gas you would have used getting there. You did miss a great day at the beach, it was wonderful.

I live about 5 blocks from the beach ;).

And yet still rarely go there :p.

Worst vendor turnout I've ever seen . NO support for gun enthusiasts in Ventura.

I went today for a few hours and was shocked a how empty it was. Unfortunate that their was more than one show in SoCal today that really thinned out vendor attendance at Ventura.

The gun show was lame, they even were selling cats and dogs. The few guns they had were way over priced, even the one saiga i seen sunday was $390.

I skipped this one because at the last show almost all the vendors I spoke to were complaining about one of the following:

a. Fuel prices
b. Lack of sales

I figured the combination of that and the CM show being on the same weekend would make for a bad show.

Raahaugees attendance probably hurt both shows also.
