Gemeni05 and I go to the range and shoot his 7.62x39 Saiga. At first we just used Wolf Ammo and called it a day. But lately, I've been bitten by the reloading bug and I find excuses to reload any caliber. I had some brass cased 7.62 Soviet ammo left over from that 7.62 Soviet AR upper I regretted buying. We shot it in the Saiga and noticed something weird:
These are Winchester cases fired from a Saiga rifle. Notice how there is a "ding" on the same spot on every case. But even stranger is the way the neck deformed and the shoulder is nearly blown out.

Shaky photo of the cratered and flattened primers. Same cases fired from a Saiga.

So are these cases salvageable? Or should I just stick with Wolf? I know Wolf is super cheap, but as I said I like to reload.
But more importantly, does this denote head space or chamber issues? Or are Saigas just built that loose?
What explains the cratered/flattened primers? Loaded too hot? Or is this caused by head spacing issues?
