I'm thinking about buying some primers and Wolf primers seems to be very reasonable in price. Anyone have any good or bad experience using Wolf Primers?

No personal experience, but I know of at least two very accomplished shooters who regularly use them. Can't be that bad.

I've met a few shooters that use Wolf brand primers. They post some good scores.

David Tubb was reported to have be using Russian primers. Whether or not the primers he uses are the same as the Wolf branded primers, is up to debate, but some people claim it to be. His reasoning for choosing the Russian primers has something to do with the primer compound mixture being more consistent.

Personally, CCIs and Remington 7-1/2s work fine for me in the AR, CCI BR2s for the match Large Rifle stuff, and Winchester for anything else.

Like I said to one of my friends regarding Tubb's choice of the Russian primers: Using the same primer as Tubb isn't going to help me shoot like him.

I was just worried about the quality being shady. I'll probably get a 5000 pack for now.
Thanks for the inputs.
