View Full Version : PAR-1 question
I am thinking about replacing the furniture on a Century PAR-1. I noticed the lower hand guard is longer than that of a standard AK? How would I go about finding one that fits? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't believe anyone makes the handguard for the PAR-1, unless you find someone to make a "one-off" for you. If you want a different wood finish/color, do it yourself. It's not a C&R so you don't have to worry too much about the original wood.

The handguards of both the Romanian PAR-1s and PAR-3s are unique to those models.
If you've decided to replace the original wood stock and Pgrip with a synthetic buttstock and pistol grip (such as the ones sold by Tapco, etc), then you could spray paint the handguards to match the color.
Yeah I was thinking about adding a thumbhole stock and wanted to make sure it matches. I'll probably just buy wood and refinish then. Thanks for all the help!
