Heard the arguments and the vote after listening all day. The fact it passed is no joke. The joke is the bill itself. Proposing legislation and studies on technology that does not exist. I listened to almost all the bills today being interested in the vote on AB2062 and the feeling I get is that they just pass everything onto the Senate no matter how rediculous. Not one bill failed. Hopefully the Senate will have better sense.
Still haven't heard anything on AB2062.

ugh... it will never end. Year after year bs bills will be put up and passed by the legislature... it gets awfully tiring. One of these days the will pass the straw that breaks this cammel's back and I will be moving out of here. Lets hope we can stop this one in the senate... I feel awfully uncomfortable relying on Herr Schwartzeneger's veto.

Things are only gonna get worse as far as gun laws in CA(unless we are saved by the supreme court). The economy is going down the toliet and naturally the result of a bad economy is a massive increase in crime. Politicians find it easier to blame the guns instead of the economy or the criminals. Why is it easier? If politicians addressed the economic issue then that would mean they would have to do something about, if they blame guns then all they have to do is use gunowners as scape goats for the government's failed domestic policies.

I'm not surprised this passed the assembly, and truthfully, I won't be surprised if it passes the senate. This state is long gone!

Darn it. Now where my magic keyring that i got from a cereal box the other day? I swear it can make my gun go *bang*. :cuss: It just goes to show you that the more people who aren't educated about firearms will want to ban them out of fear that guns will kill people by themselves. It further points out the lack of understanding of how important they are as a safeguard to society against run away government and the basis of the foundation of our great nation by our citizens.

You're mistaken. They are educated and they do understand. They know full well what they are doing. To say they are uneducated about firearms lets them off the hook too easily.

Passed 41-30.
What are it's chances in the Senate?
Maybe the Heller decision can help with this? sigh, looks more and more like I want to move to Austin.
