Well my dad has had this rifle in the garage for as long as i can remember, and he dosent have much info on it, only that a friend gave it to him years ago because he owed him money , it had a rubber buttstock that says weatherby in cursive writing,

now the barrel has some engravings , i tried to take pics but they are just too small

on side says
-FL

other
-8.2 1904 GL

and on the very top of the barrel it has 6 words

the first 3 are cut in half so i cant really tell but looks like

REL MEX 32=20

when you cock the rifle back it dosent stay tuck it goes back to normal, also the barrel needs to be bolted on the stock , or im not sure, i want as much info on this gun as possibly also if i could fix it maybe its a blackpowder? or idk, fathers day is coming up and if its possible i wanna make this gun fireable , thanks for all theinfo guys!

i could also get any specific pics you guys myght need

Looks like you have an old 32-20 WCF rifle with a new buttpad. From the looks of it it is missing the receiver and bolt.

I recall seeing a lot of lever guns in this caliber and some wheel guns. This was almost a dead caliber till cowboy shooting revived it. It is pretty anemic but perfect for that low recoil sport.

Definitely looks like you're a few Mcnuggets short of a firearm happy meal.

LOL yeah , i figured since it looks awfully hard to load anytype of amo , can anyboby be so kind as to post pics of what this gun is REALLY supposed to look like , ive searched and came up with diffrent looking rifles

also do you guys think it will be too pricy to make it fireable ? not worth it ?

It looks like the stock is from a shotgun and the barrel is from a lever action. Maybe it is someone uncompleted build from years ago.

That may be an original GI sling, probably the best thing there.
