My AR was built with an m16a1 upper, but it recently went through some changes. Heres the before and after.

Spikes tactical lower
J&T Distributing upper w/ fluted 16" Bull barrel
EOTech 512 AA
CAA Telescoping stock

I'd like to durakote the handguard, but other than that, I think it's looking pretty good. I'll take it out soon and see how it shoots.

how much lighter is a fluted barrel vs a nonfluted for say 18"?

I don't know, but mine is kind of heavy
