I own a Mitchell 15/22 and was wondering if anyone out there knows if and where I can find extra magazines for it. I also wanted to know if anyone else owns one. I wish I had purchased a Ruger 10/22 at the time since there are many accessories but I got this one for a good price in 95. I've decided to start shooting it more to save money on ammo.

i'm pretty sure they are the same mags that the armscor 22s use

i would sell it for whatever i could get and buy a 10/22 before you break something on it and it will be worth less

does the mag look ike this?

You are probably right. I probably should sell it since it's still in good shape. I'd probably have a hard time selling it since it I cannot sell it with the 15 rnd. magazine here in CA.

I have two of those, an '81 Squires-Bingham that came with 15rd and 30rd magazines and a '01 that came with 10rd mags. New magazines are only available in 10rd, and can be found from several places;
AmmoClip.com (http://www.ammoclip.com/A/armscor_m1600_22lr.htm)
Centerfire Systems (http://www.centerfiresystems.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1213)
For just example's. Also on the new mags, the 'box' is now polymer, which is a lot lighter than the old aluminum boxes were.
