Hey friends. I just picked up my new A.R.M.S. mount today & I've narrowed my decision for a new scope for my M1A down to a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 or a Nikon Team Primos 3-9x40. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!!

I put a 4200 on a .338/378 Weatherby with Tally rings 7 years ago. no problems thus far so I know the 4200 can take a beating.

Those scopes are great on a AR-15. I like 30mm scopes for my M1A's

The Bushnell comes with life time warranty. I have had two of these scopes not bad for the money.

No comparison. The 4200 optics blow the Nikon out of the water.

I can't comment on the Nikon but have had two 3200 series and now a 4200 and both have been flawless, clear, and tough. The warranty, if needed, is fantastic as well.

I would take the 4200... I have the 3-9 on one of my rifles and really like it. Nikon makes good stuff too though.... their Monarch line is fantastic.

I have a 4200 6-24x on my very first rifle. Been shooting it for 6 years now with no problems! They look great, too:
