Boy...prices have gone up over there, not only for just this one.

I was wondering why there was no year and maker mark...

Yes, no make, no date is pretty rare from what I have been told. I have a 1968 no make in the same condition, I bought it from them about a year and a half ago. Love the Finns. They have to finally be running out of them, they must be getting down to their more "special" pieces like this one.

There is no faster way to lose interest in the M91/30 platform than to buy a Finn.

I find it interesting how they have M39s in the list that are described as "mirror sharp shiny bore" but the arsenal hangtag shows the bore condition was graded a "3" way back in 1959. I guess these bores have magically healed themselves over the years :/

Don't you know that the Finn's have magical healing powers! I saw that on the internet, so it MUST be true!

I did a search this evening and found the M39 mentioned in the OP is NOT one of a kind!!! Maybe it's the only one they have encountered, but there are others in existence. Here is one Empire sold in 2006 for $475:

I thought they were all one of a kind! ;)

It will be nice to see what the last 100 rifles look like. Get em while their hot! Maybe we'll start seein those one of a kinds more often.

gunsnammo had been steadily raising their prices with almost every single sales release it seems; glad I got two a few years back. Now it seems she is starting to come back down a tad from the $600+ price point last year. I remember two years ago people were watching her releases like a hawk and rifles would sell out within a week or less... Not so much now. However, even if I can get today's pricing for my no-make and B barrel variants, I wouldn't sell them for the world... They are just so fun to shoot, and very accurate to boot. :)

I think the antique with the crack was a little higher yesterday, doesn't it? She definitely will start items higher and drift them down a bit if they don't sale.

I wish I had more disposable income, I would collect M39s, there are so many interesting variants. But I am happy with my one.

I haven't seen antiques there in forever. I remember when they were somewhat available. Even on gunbroker.

Pretty much, everyone suggested not selling my 91/30 but I'm glad I did as I do not miss it at all after getting a nice M39 (SAKO SkY with a beautiful stock).

It's just a 'sneak' M39. They have new post WW 2 barrels. No historical significance. Probably shoots 1.5MOA vs my 2moa common VKT.
