That's a picture that has been ripped off of http://www.vltor.com/. They make the upper and furniture on that rifle.

Do some searching on VLTOR and you will find out about their quality.

I could build that for about $2600 all-in.
That's all good quality stuff there.

its too bad that that gun is listed on the roberti roos and illigal whether it has the mag lock on it or not.

If you look at the listing, you will see that the marked model is "308 Match". Nowhere on the RR list is "FN-308 Match". Where's SemiOttoBob when you need him ;)

thats funny the flow chart says on line 8 it is.and on the penal code section 12276 line 7 says its an assault weapon also, care too recant your answer

Yep, yer right. That's what I get for not checking the ****in POS RR list. :(

The point still stands tho, there are non-listed FN's that could be bought for that much $$$$.

Not mine. It's actually the OP's. A SOCOM w/ Nightforce, mount, rings, harris bipod, cheekrest, etc. is probably closer to $3200. You might have misread my post.

Beatin a dead horse are we?
His rifle was over 3k, last time we went out shooting it didnt function very well. Eather did mine, its been at springfields shop for over 2 months now, closer to 3 months. ALOT of worked needed to be done to it. So far extra features we got were VLTOR rail system, Grip pod and Eotech.... It should be a nice beater.

The scope mount on that SA looks like a SA scope mount. If so I haven't had any luck with them and neither has anybody I know that tried them. If it's not it could be good.

My $2600 quote included the Eotech.

Thats not a S/A mount, Thats one of the best M1A scope mounts out there. The smith M21 milspec mount.
