2 year old Trijicon #6 #6 night sights that were taken off and replaced with the correct #8 #8's by Clubster on Sigforum.

i have 3 sets of #6 #6s. they are marked trijicon; h3 06.

i know that they fit the classic sig p22x series. not sure if they will fit any of the others.

asking $50 shipped for each set, sent via ups.

ignore all the above ;) thanks to tonelar for all his help again in measuring to check that theyre #8 #8s (since theyre unmarked) and how to change the title of the thread :)

so needless to say ;) i switched 3 pairs of 2 year old #8 #8s because i was shooting funny with new #8 #8s ;) how smart am i? ;)

that was rhetorical :P i really dont need answers from the peanut gallery ;)

as per tonelar who took the time to figure out what the heck these were ;) these are #8 #8 night sights (what i mistook for height numbers are year of creation) and not #6 #6s ;) which means there are no height numbers on these night sights (which im my opinion is silly).

thank you very much tonelar :)

If these are #8/#8 then I'll take them!

45 shipped, I trust they glow still and are in good condition?

As they are 06 year production they'll glow at this brightness 'til 2016, at which point they drop down by 1/2.

Hence the Twelve Year half life of tritium.

Hence the Twelve Year half life of tritium.

Not exactly appropriate for the thread, but what it means is that it takes 12 years for half of the radioactive atoms to decay, reducing brightness by about half.

They'll glow brightest when new, and will dim constantly. At 6 years, they'll be at about 71% brightness. At 12 years, they'll be at 50% brightness, at 24 years 25% brightness, etc.

In 2008, 2006 sights will be at around 89% of original brightness.

Thanks Maxicon,
One of the reasons science fastinates me so is because I believe in voodoo, magic and santoria so strongly.

sooo.. if we offer up a chicken and a bottle of rum, do a little dance, mutter the magic words.. will they get brighter? ;)

or we'd care alot less.

Is this the sort of thing that gets threads disappeared?

Hey DUENOR no thread "craping" alowed...even if he is your roomie...now go and find that tool so I can do the same...and where are all the wood grips? lol :gene: ...typical my wife thought I was crazy when I came home with that lil bag...

The tool is sitting on the living room table, next to Oni's laptop charger, where it has been for the past 6 months. Must be true, what they say about hiding in plain sight. ;)

Wood grips... sadly, they all got bought out. INCLUDING MINE. someone accidentally sold my grips! my fault for putting them on the demo gun.

since they are all sold anyway... do either of you two know why #8 sights are uncommon? All my older sigs have #8s as standard. wierd.
