Yes, I know that a lot of you guys don't like Turner's for one reason or another. But I thought I should post this here anyway.

They'll give you a gift card equal to 25% of your purchase there.

Only real catch is that the purchase needs to be at least $20 and you need the coupon below.

I think I might stop on by and get some more cleaning supplies.

I just saw this. I wonder if theres a maximum amount? I mean if I come in there and buy a new glock for about $600 they give me $150 card? Me likey "free" money. I may be purchasing a new gun in the morning :D

Uh yeah, if there's no limit I might be buying a new gun, too. I was going to burn my "stimulus" check on a gun anyway.

Yeah, I didn't see mention of a maximum. If you throw down $2000 on, say a M1A, that's a $500 GC you'll be getting. That's almost enough to buy a used pistol or some lower-end rifle.

too bad it is for in-stock purchases only. I need to special-order a gun that Turners doesn't stock. I was planning on seeing what deal I could get at the shooting sports fair, but I don't think I could beat 25% off. At 25% off, I'd order it now and forget waiting for the fair.

Too bad they're only open so many hours, and you need to wrangle a sales clerk to buy anything. That'll limit how much they give away. :P

Anyone use this promo yet?

Went by Turner's Redondo and their rifle selection wasn't too great, same handguns that have been in the case for months.

Here is the ad and for some reason it wont load in Firefox, but fine in IE.

Well, I did need another safe - so the Amsec5924 fire safe was on sale until 5/15... I printed the old email with the sale price that was $60 off the regular price and I also used the 25% coupon (printed e-mail), the manager was super cool about giving both discounts. They only had four in the warehouse.

Regular Price $519.99
Sale Price $459.98 + $37.95 tax
25% Gift Card value= $114.99
total real world price out the door = $382.94
so I saved $179.95 or 32%.

Not a bad price for a safe, now I need to figure out what I will use the gift card for.

I went in to Pasadena Turners wanting to purchase a 1911, but the sales guy said you needed the original coupon for the deal to work. I guess the ad is in one of the local newspapers or something  So I walked away empty handed. Anyway, that salesman wasn't the brightest, so I'll try another turners this weekend.

The "original?" You mean printing out the internet ad doesn't work?
Well that's just dumb.

Good deal. I got a USP .40 with factory nights. I tried to get the sales price they had promoted a few months ago, but I couldn't. Anyhow, I am very pleased.

Price w/o fees and taxes: 799.99
Total Price: 892.38
Gift card Value: 25% of 892.38= 223.1

Savings equals= 20%...not 25%.
Getting a 25% gift card of the total value is not the same as getting 25% off.
Still a great deal, but let me explain....

Buy a $100 product and you get a $25 gift card.

You essentially purchased $125 worth of goods, but at a "sale" price of $100. (125-100)/125= 20% total savings...

Anyhow, no upper limit on the gift certificate. I basically got a brand new USP .40 w/ night sights for $892.38, but it's comparatively equivalent to having purchased it for 713.90 (20% off of 892.38). $713.90 for a brand new USP .40 with night sights OUT THE DOOR.

The Pasadena Turner's had a bunch of the printouts for customers to use when I went. I wanted to purchase a Sig Sauer Mosquito, but they are pricing it above MSRP. Is that a pricing error...? If not, it makes me hate Turner's even more.

I don't think the gift card would include DROS and tax so wouldn't your 25% be from the $799.99 purchase price?

That's what I assumed, but they gave me 25% of the entire pruchase price of 892.38. I went to a different turner's today and bought 8 boxes of hydrashok .45 JHP for 230 which I paid for with my gift card, and got another gift card for 53$ They only gave me 25% of the subtotal for some reason. Go figure. Anyhow, $900s got me a new usp .40 w/ night sights, 8 boxes of hydrashock (26.69 each), and a $53 gift certificate. GOOD OR BAD DEAL???

I picked up a new hunting rifle with this deal. Savage 16fhss 7mm-08. I will probably apply the card toward a scope. The rifle was not in stock and they had to order it from the vendor, but they still gave me the deal.

I purchased a handgun in Pasadena, but they told me I would get my gift card when I picked it up. Nice little promo they have going, probably going to use to buy a new safe.

So, we are supposed to get our gift-certificate when we pick up our gun, even if I paid in full?

Yep. If you bought a gun, it's delivered at the time of pickup. I'm assuming they do this in case you do not pass the background check. In that case, you'd only be paying the 25% restocking fee, not the full amount.
