It's still relatively simple. Only when you add a railed mounted Ipod do you need to worry about overly tacticool

If you really want it to be K.I.S.S. Ditch the Eotech and slap on Carry handle. Ditch the bipod. Throw a A2 Fixed front sight base on the barrel, etch, etc. But it sounds like you like it just the way it is. BTW, why a bipod for a light carbine with an Eotech?

Build another KISS and sell the bipod to 5150Marcelo, he's been looking forever now.

The range I go to is only upto 100 yds...The eotech is dialed and zeroed to co-witness with my iron sights...I just use the bipod for the purpose of stabilizing and also learning how to shoot with a bipod...I am currently saving up for a new powered/magnified scope...

Magnified is good for shooting farther, but you'd be surprised how far you can hit with just iron sights.

you must be a fortune teller...for a long while, all i have been using are iron sights...but i finally had to give in and buy some optics. I jumped on the eotech because of a killer deal (New In Box = $500) The bipod also comes into play when zeroing the iron sights for this rifle and or others (ie: mine or friends' rifles) because I do not have a bench rest. A very wise friend suggested keeping the rifle steady and/or benched or on a bipod when zeroing. I believe this for my own experience, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT for me to zero my iron sights shooting freestyle.
