Update: 06/25/08 - We have both the 10/20 and 10/30 PMAGs back in stock

I got some of these in stock now and will be ready to ship by Monday. I currently only have Black in stock but will be getting the other colors in soon. These are limited to 10 rounds by utilizing a full-width, skeletonized, polymer block that is epoxied in place. All the original parts are still maintained and the magazine is indistinguishable from the original. Price is set at $25.99. The item is on the webiste and taking orders now.

The block is epoxied to the follower, not the mag body, so they are still able to be taken apart and cleaned right?

No, this design will not allow disassembly for cleaning. I don't see how just a longer follower, which could be easily replaced, could be considered a permenant modification. I guess that is where your cut down version has the disassembly/cleaning advantage.

When I did the cut-down ones, they will actually hold 11 rounds with a standard follower.
The follower gets a plug epoxied into it that limits travel about 1/4".
After that, they only held 10 rounds.
You could do the same thing on these with just a longer plug and a blind pin.
The blind-pinned spacer would be pretty permanent, requiring machine work to make them hold more than 10 rounds.

Mr. Shark: If these are successful, and you do another round, definitely count me in for a few in dark earth color--I'll be standing by, and checking out Riflegear periodically.

Nope, the bottom plate is secured to the interlocking internal bottom plate (whatever that piece is called) with epoxy.

picked up 2 tonight! Looks good. Can't tell by looking at them that they are anything different than a regular 20rnd pmag. Obviously haven't used them yet, but loads up 10rnds and no more than that, jsut like its supposed to.

this thing is a really nice mag and he did an excellent job converting! cant even tell! i knew i should have ordered two, welp just ordered my 2nd 2 min ago! i sold my stag 10/20 in order to another one of these!

Ordered 3 of these yesterday, got them at my doorstep today! I know I am close by, but jees! I expected at least a couple days! Thanks you guys!

This is a quality mag. Ran trials on my Sabre Defence lower, and everything checks out great! They hold exactly 10 rounds, and the storage caps fit perfectly with a loaded mag. I just ordered 4 more!!!

Thank you for everybody's support and feedback. Our first batch of PMAG has sold out in 10 days!!! We will be able to fill orders came in tonight but that's it. We will let you know as soon as we receive next shipment from Magpul. We will introduce PMAG 10/30 mags very soon. And Flat Dark Earth color will be available too. :)

I installed one of these mags in my AR this weekend. The fit and finish are top notch and a big improvement over my Bushmaster 10/20 mag that would only hold nine rounds and was a pain to load because of the crappy follower.

I'll be ordering more 10/20 Magpul PMAGs when they get in.

We probably will not run out before monday. I had 100 this morning and have another 150 coming next week so we will probably not run out too quickly.

We finally received PMAG 20rd magazines from MAGPUL today :) We will be on production of PMAG10/20 tomorrow. So I think we can start to ship PMAG10/20 mid next week.

We don't have an update - it's up to Magpul to get these things out (and the MOE grips, and the UBRs, and the trigger guards, and....) The demand is much greater than the supply right now and any estimate they give us we take with a grain of salt.
